CallDoc

Bring your hospital, clinic, lab or pharmacy onto CallDoc — on your own terms.

Register your institution and run what you actually do: clinics and hospitals take in-clinic bookings, labs and imaging centres receive test orders and release reports, pharmacies quote and dispense prescriptions.

CallDoc / Institutions

Institutions on CallDoc

One platform for every kind of care institution — and the patients who are looking for you.

Joining CallDoc doesn't replace how you run your institution today. It adds a verified profile patients can find, and a portal for the parts that are genuinely yours: your roster and schedules, your test and medicine catalogues, your blood stock or fleet, and the orders and requests that arrive.

For hospitals, clinics, labs & pharmacies

Run your roster from one dashboard

  • Hospitals, clinics and rehab centres list their specialities, invite consultants and staff, and take in-clinic bookings.
  • Labs and imaging centres list their tests and prices, receive orders from prescriptions, and release reports straight into the patient's records.
  • Pharmacies receive prescriptions, send a quote, and prepare for pickup or delivery.
  • Blood banks keep a stock register and hold units for patients; ambulance services list vehicles and fares and dispatch with driver and ETA.
For your practitioners

Affiliation is additive, not exclusive

  • Join one or more institutions while keeping independent CallDoc bookings.
  • Accept an institution's invite the same way they accept a patient request today.
  • Payout type, rate, and fee overrides are visible on their own dashboard — never a surprise.

Supported institution types

Nine kinds of institution — each gets the tools that fit it.

Pick the type that matches what you do most. Below is what you run on CallDoc, what patients see, and what you will need to register. CallDoc can also switch an individual service on or off for a specific institution — for example a hospital that also runs a pharmacy.

Hospital

  • Consultations
  • Practitioner roster
  • Payout reporting

What you run on CallDoc

  • List the specialities you cover and invite consultants and staff by phone number.
  • Choose per practitioner whether they set their own hours or your institution manages the schedule.
  • Set in-clinic fee overrides and see payroll, commission or per-visit payout terms computed from completed visits.
  • Follow daily stats and a full payment and visit history, filterable by practitioner.

What patients see

Patients search “Hospitals & clinics”, see your specialities, practitioners and open slots, and book an in-clinic visit. After the visit the record lands in their CallDoc account.

To register you will need

  • Business / trade registration certificate · required
  • Facility or medical practice licence · required
  • Tax registration certificate · optional
  • Details: Number of beds (optional)

  • Accepting a request reserves the units from your stock; rejecting or cancelling returns them automatically.
  • Move each request to ready for collection and then handed over.

What patients see

Patients check which blood banks hold their group, send a request for up to 10 units, and are told when the units are ready to collect. The processing fee is paid to the blood bank in cash. CallDoc is not an emergency service — in a life-threatening emergency call 1122.

The patient side

What patients experience when they use your services.

  • They find you: by browsing hospitals & clinics, laboratories, imaging centres, pharmacies, blood banks or ambulance services listed on CallDoc — only approved, active, listed institutions appear.
  • They order or request: a booking for a clinic visit, tests or medicines from a prescription, or a blood or ambulance request — with prices, quotes or fares shown before they commit.
  • They follow progress: every step you update — accepted, scheduled, collected, ready, dispatched — appears on their order with a notification, on the website and in the CallDoc app.
  • They pay you directly and keep their records: lab, imaging, pharmacy, blood and ambulance payments are made to your institution in cash — CallDoc does not collect them. Released reports go into the patient's own records.

Emergencies: every blood and ambulance screen tells patients to call 1122 in a life-threatening emergency. CallDoc is not an emergency service and cannot guarantee response times.

How it works

Four steps, the same review your individual providers already go through.

  • Register: submit your institution's details and, optionally, your registration documents — takes a few minutes.
  • Get verified: CallDoc reviews the submission and approves your institution, the same approval-queue model providers already go through.
  • Sign in & set up: once approved, your first administrator receives an email invite to the institution portal and chooses a password. Then set up what you run: specialities and staff, test or medicine catalogues, blood stock, or vehicles and fares.
  • Go live: your institution appears to patients, and bookings, orders or requests start arriving in the portal.

What you get

The parts that are actually institutional — not busywork for your team.

Everything below lives on your institution's own portal, separate from the CallDoc app your practitioners already use. For hospitals, clinics and rehab centres:

  • Choose per practitioner whether they set their own hours or your institution manages their schedule and slot length.
  • Fee overrides per visit type, so in-clinic pricing can differ from a practitioner's own rates.
  • Payroll, commission, or per-visit contract terms — computed automatically from completed visits. Reporting only: CallDoc never moves funds on your behalf.
  • Daily stats, a staff roster, and a full payment/visit history, filterable by practitioner.

Trust & safety

Verified before you're visible, private while you wait.

Reviewed before you go live

Your institution is verified by CallDoc before it appears in patient search — the same approved-only model providers are held to.

Documents kept private

Supporting documents upload straight to a private store CallDoc's review team can see — never a public link.

Practitioners opt in

Every consultant or staff member chooses to accept your institution's invite. No one is added to your roster without their own confirmation.

FAQ

Straight answers for institutions.

Registering

Which institution types can register?

Hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty centres, diagnostic laboratories, radiology and imaging centres, pharmacies, blood banks, ambulance services and rehabilitation centres. Pick the one that matches what you do most; the registration form then asks only for what that type needs.

What do I need to register?

Your institution’s details and contact person, a few details specific to your type (for example the pharmacist in charge for a pharmacy), and your registration and licence documents. Each type’s required documents are listed in its card above. Documents can be PDF, JPEG, PNG or WEBP up to 8MB each.

How long does approval take?

Review follows the same queue CallDoc already uses for individual providers. Uploading all required documents up front is the fastest way through it — approval cannot be completed until the required documents are in.

What is the tracking code?

You receive it as soon as you submit the form. Use “Check registration status” with it to see where your review stands, upload or replace documents, and read the reason if a registration needs changes.

Can one login manage several branches?

Register each location as its own institution. The same person can be invited to several institutions and switch between them inside the portal.

Our institution does more than one thing. Which type do we choose?

Choose the type that fits your main activity. A multi-specialty centre covers consultations plus lab and imaging orders, and CallDoc can switch an individual service on or off for a specific institution — for example a hospital that also runs a pharmacy. Tell us in the “About your institution” box or contact the team.

Our kind of institution is not listed.

Contact the CallDoc team through the “Talk to us first” button. Institution types are managed by CallDoc, so new ones can be added when there is a clear workflow for them.

Is there a fee to join?

Submitting a registration does not require any payment. For commercial terms, talk to the CallDoc team before or after you register.

Running your institution

Does joining CallDoc replace our own scheduling system?

No. For each practitioner you choose whether they keep setting their own hours or your institution manages their schedule and slot length — either way, nothing else about how you run the facility changes.

Do our doctors lose their independent CallDoc bookings?

No. Affiliating with your institution is additive — a practitioner can belong to multiple institutions and still take their own independent home-visit and video bookings.

Does CallDoc handle paying our staff?

No. Payout type, rate, and cycle are tracked and computed from completed visits for your own reporting — CallDoc never disburses funds on your behalf.

Can we control which specialities patients see?

Yes — your institution’s admin dashboard is where you turn coverage for each speciality on or off, independent of which individual practitioners are affiliated.

Who can use the institution portal?

Your first administrator is invited by email after approval and can then invite more administrators and staff. Administrators manage catalogues, fares and settings; staff work the incoming orders and requests.

Labs & imaging centres

How do orders reach a lab or imaging centre?

A patient orders from a prescription, or picks your institution and chooses from the test catalogue you publish. You accept or decline, schedule the sample collection or scan, and update the status through collected, processing and report ready.

How do reports get to the patient?

You upload the finished report in the portal. It is placed in the patient’s own CallDoc records and shared with the practitioner who ordered it. The patient can open it from the order and from their records.

Can we offer home sample collection?

Yes, labs can offer it with an optional collection fee. Patients who choose it pin their address so your phlebotomist can find them.

Pharmacies

How do pharmacy orders work?

The patient sends a prescription. For every medicine you mark it available, unavailable or substituted, set the quantity and price, and send a quote. The patient has 24 hours to accept; an unaccepted quote lapses automatically. After acceptance you prepare the order for pickup or delivery.

Can we deliver medicines?

Yes. Switch on home delivery, set your delivery fee, and the patient can choose delivery with a pinned address. Pickup-only pharmacies are fine too.

Blood banks & ambulance services

How do blood requests work?

You keep a stock register by blood group and component. Patients only see groups you hold. When you accept a request the units are reserved from your stock; if the request is rejected or cancelled they go back automatically. The fee is a processing fee collected by you directly.

How does ambulance dispatch work?

List your vehicle types with base and per-kilometre fares. A request arrives with a pickup pin and destination. You accept, then dispatch with the driver, vehicle number and an arrival estimate that the patient sees. When the trip ends you record the final fare.

Is CallDoc an emergency dispatch service?

No. Every patient screen tells people to call 1122 in a life-threatening emergency. CallDoc passes requests to independent institutions and cannot guarantee response times.

Patients & payments

How do patients pay your institution?

Directly to you, in cash, for lab, imaging, pharmacy, blood and ambulance requests. CallDoc does not collect or hold these payments, and shows patients the price before they commit.

What do patients see about us?

Your name, address, contact phone, rating and the services and prices you publish. Internal notes and other patients’ orders are never shown, and you only ever see orders addressed to your own institution.
